Le Corbusier is famous for calling a house is a machine to live in.

He was born with the name of Edouard Jeanneret in La Chaux de Fonds , Switzerland , in 1887


He adopted the name Le Corbusier after the father of the mother or grandfather that Corbusier - in 1920 .

He became a French citizen in 1930 and died in 1965. His face appears on the Swiss currency , worth 10 Swiss francs
