We recently advised you about how the angriest drivers in Britain have a tendency to be behind the wheel of a BMW. Now we've got a few speeding/insurance info from the States, and it is a chunk unexpected.
According to Quality Planning, a division of Verisk Analytics Inc., American Mercedes SL drivers are at the least 4 times much more likely to get ticketed than a run-of-the-mill motorist who presumably drives a Camry Solara or...No, wait, the Camry Solara/Coupe and Scion tC are available at second and 0.33.
Oddly, the Pontiac Grand Prix is still on the list and making waves (scroll down for the total list with stats).
Of the pinnacle ten maximum ticketed vehicles, Mercedes and Toyota can each lay claim to a few: the SL, the CLS63, and the CLK63, and the Camry Solara/Coupe, Scion tC, and xB. In defense of its fast cars, Mercedes' spokesman Robert Moran says, "These are a laugh-to-drive cars, and sometimes humans have a little an excessive amount of a laugh enjoying them."
On the opposite aspect of the spectrum, people-hauling SUVs have been some of the least ticketed so long as we exclude the Hummer H2/H3; the bottom was truely the Buick Rainier.
The lesson right here, children, is bypass the intercourse-on-wheels Benzos and just go for an old Buick SUV is you need to keep away from tickets. Or, you could simply restrain yourself...However in which's the a laugh in that?
