LAMPO2 is an electric demonstration sports car conceived by Protoscar, a Swiss company which has been developing CleanCar projects for 23 years including consulting of OEMs, power utilities and governments. The LAMPO2 boasts 'quick-charging' capability (up to 100 km range extension in just 10 minutes charging time) and will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show (2nd March 2010) on the e'mobile stand Nr. 5141.

LAMPO2 is an even more energy efficient successor to the LAMPO demonstration vehicle presented in 2009. Weight, aerodynamics and the efficiency of individual components of the BRUSA drive train have been further optimized in order to reach a world-class energy consumption of less than 100Wh/km-ton under real conditions. LAMPO2 is equipped with 4 different charging modes:

? Wellknown single-segment with up to a few,3kW on board charger for typical in a single day home-price,

? 'manipulate-pilot' equipped and (EDF supplied) PLC single-section with 6,6kW on board charger common for public charging,

? Preferred three-section 9,9kW on board charger usual for charging at business plugs (fleet-proprietors) and

? An interface for DC fast charging (capable of transmit a max. Power of 80kW), where up to 100km of additional variety may be charged within just 10 mins, through an off-board machine, so that the distinct answers may be as compared in phrases of usability and efficiency by way of being established in actual conditions.

Together with the primary LAMPO (which has already been pushed over 10'000 km on race tracks and public roads throughout Europe), LAMPO2 could be used for realistic demonstrations and testing. Protoscar has time and again been recommended to develop a complicated electric powered cabriolet for small-scale manufacturing and plans to apply the LAMPO2 to assess this opportunity. The assessment will encompass discussions with ability industrial and monetary partners, and an assessment of the alternatives and desires of potential customers. Technical info LAMPO2 has electric powered automobiles (allowing it to perform as a four-wheel pressure with variable torque between the front and rear axle for most appropriate coping with, safety and performance) with a total output of 260 kW (equal to 350 HP), 600 Nm (50% greater than its predecessor!) and over 30 kWh of Lithium-Ion battery potential. LAMPO2 functions actual sports activities-automobile performances: 5 seconds to accelerate from 0 to one hundred km/h, 200 km/h of max. Pace and a variety of over 200 km. More than sufficient strength for riding is produced by using a remote solar plant that is mounted on the roof of a farm in Tuscany, permitting a real 0-emission force on a 'Well-to-Wheel' basis.
